weather picker

Is it possible to change position of the weather picker ? At least to the middle of the screen as it appears in the top 1/3 of screen in the centre ...eg I would like to be able to put picker just offshore of Bundaberg and be able to view east coast up to New Guinea....currently if I do this I only get a little of the north east coast and practically all of the south coast to Antarctica...

It is not possible to change the default position of the weather picker in 1/3 high of the phone app screen. You can drag the map with your thumb and place it where you like. But then of course the weather picker is no longer on your position.
