Offline Map Updates on Android App

love your Windy Maps android app, especially for offline use when I find myself traveling outside of cell phone coverage (or in very marginal cell phone coverage). However, most of the time when I find myself offline and try to use your offline maps, I am told I cannot use the maps until I update the maps. This obviously defeats the purpose of having offline maps.
First, I think your offline maps should be usable even if they are not the most updated version. A warning or even a nag screen is fine, but unfortunately, I will have to switch to another offline mapping program if I continue to be locked out of the offline maps because they need to be updated.
Second, is there currently a workaround that would allow me to use the offline map when I am, well, offline, even if they have not been updated?

@tomdt Hello, thank you for the feedback. There is currently no way to use maps without updating them.
