Elevation Discrepancy Marker with Topo Maps

Hi There! I just posted this image of an elevation marker compared to the topo map. I was wondering if this is a common error and the reason for the, sometimes wild :), cross sections that are created? Beyond this minor issue, what a website you have created!! Hats off to Ivo and Team!!!

I should elaborate to help anyone who might answer me...I was using the Route Planner Tool to create a profile of ski runs at a certain Ski Resort (amazing feature the Outdoor Map, btw) and noticed some significant discrepancies between what the topo map was showing and what the Route Planner profile showed. Black Diamond runs looked way too easy, lol! But in all seriousness, this is an amazing tool that once improved will be invaluable. I hope that helps. Thanks!
