Android Widget Now Too BIG With Empty Space

Built: 2022-01-28, 14:53Sadly, your latest update to the Windy app on Android has increased the size of the widgets for no apparent reason.
Both widgets now take up a lot more vertical space, unlike before. This means that they need much more space to use them. Where it used to fit, it can't do it anymore.
This would make sense if the widget used all that space, but the extra vertical space contains none of the widget. It's completely blank.
You may want to fix that because my beloved Windy widget can no longer be used on my main home page.

As you can see, surrounding the widget is a bunch of empty space above and below. That wasn't there in the previous version.

@lafreniere-luc Hello, those borders around the widget can be removed, just tap on them and swipe down.

I have the same problem, but tapping on them does not allow me to resize them - the minimum size is absolutely huge.

@alisterw Hi. Please try "long click" on the widget. This should enable size edit mode. We will bring back 4x1 widget size in next version.

Hello, I have same problem.. previously added widgets are resized to 1x4. But now the widget is 2x4 and can't be resized to smaller size - therefore there are big gaps. I will try to post screenshot.. I have Pixel with Android 12.

@ludekcakl Hello, this is correct, due to technical reasons, we have decided to change the format to 4x2. But thank you for feedback, we may consider reverting it.
