Windy freezes on Mac Monterey

Hi, I am using an iMac with latest software versions (macOS Monterey 12.1) and Safari 15.2.
For about a month, Windy keeps freezing and the only option is to close the window and reopen. Very frustrating, I have been using this app for long and really enjoyed it, but now, this is totally impossible.
Can anybody help?

Hi, @Korina,
I have a similar problem, but with the Windy.com app downloaded from the App Store.
When I load windy.com in the browser, it works fine with and without enabling "Graphic compatibility mode".
The app, however, does not work.
Please, advice as a prefer using the Windy widget which requires the app.
