      The bar at the rigth in the sounding forecast predict much higher windspeeds then wat is shown on the map. Error factor = 3x times the normalized windspeed and windgusts about 1.5-2x times

        @rickvds Hello, you are probably looking at surface level altitude than in the Sounding forecast feature.

          @korina Yes I'm looking to the surface conditions. I fly paragliders wind at surface/low level is critical for us.
          The location is in the Netherlands, where most ground is at sea-level.

          After your reply I noticed that the Sounding diagram starts at 200m elevation
          Which isn't clearly stated.
          99.99% of the Netherlands is below 200m elevation.

          Can you clarify why the diagram starts at 200m elevation even for lower locations?

          Is just a representation issue or doesn't the model have data below 200m?
