Windy iOS Widgets: What's new
-
@squshy Hi. Please try the following steps described here: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/content/en-us00754152/ Search for windy widgets (there is detail, days and radar widget). You should be able to add them to your home screen. Let me know if you need more help :)

@marknagy
I searched, a weather widget appeared (it wasn't there before) I clicked on the widget but still there was nothing related to Windy. -
Sad to see you can’t have swell or wind displayed in widgets in a similar fashion to radar. This is what I’d hoped for from the beginning.
-
@nwrightau Hello, wind is displayed in widgets by default. Swell is not part of basic detailed forecast, therefore it is not included. But we can consider it for the future.

Hi, love the radar widget- fantastic work! Would love some sort of wind barb/other wind direction and strength indicator in one of the corners of the radar widget - would add great situational awareness to the radar picture. Could use the location selected as the data source, or average it depending on the zoom level. Either way, it would serve to add context and an element of prediction as to where the radar returns are moving. Thanks for all your continued hard work!

My iphone uses IOS14.4,but cannot find the widget when i tap on the "+" symbol.has it been removed?
-
@先生-陈 Windy supports widgets since iOS 14.0 so you should find them there. Do you have correct app with the red logo in your iPhone?
-
@Ondřej-Šutera I download it from appstore named "windy" with the red logo.It should be the corret one.I remenber the widgets existed first but somehow disappeared last year.

@Korina yes,I don't know what happened. Is this something wrong with the IOS update?That seems happened when the IOS16 launched.
-
@先生-陈 since you have the 14.4 version, the newly offered update shouldn't have an effect on this. Would be possible to try to reinstall Windy?
-
@先生-陈
For me with iOS 16.0, after pressing the + symbol and clicking on Windy at bottom of the list of apps, it works: -
@Ondřej-Šutera I have tried that, but it make no sense. Maybe I should update my IOS to 16.0
-
@idefix37 Of course it can, but we are talking about IOS14.4
-
@先生-陈 If you have that option to update your system, I would recommend that. It would be basically better even for us, because we could much easier solve certain issues.
-
@Ondřej-Šutera I have update my system, and it works.Thanks.
-
I have the widget on my homescreen now, but it doesn't show any weather details?
-
@Dan-Baker What does the widget show?
-
@Korina I tried to experience it on iPhone in Vietnam. It looks very good, thank you very much Windy. It really helps my architectural design work
