Pyranometer data in Joules per cm2 (Solar power)

In the Netherlands we have access to data from the dutch KNMI. These data include "global radiation" (globale straling) measured in J/cm2.

Are these data available from weather stations around the world?

And if so, wouldn't it be nice (for both farmers and solar panel owners) to include this in Windy?
