Historical data availability in 2022

Hello there,
I'm looking for historical wind speeds by postal code. However, the API seems all about embedding a visualized map into a website, or getting point forecasts.
Is there a way to send requests for say the past 5 years? Based on previous posts some historical data hs been made available in 2017?
