Show current value on mouse hover

Currently, to see the current map value (wind speed, temperature, etc.), I have to click somewhere on the map to get a little flag that indicates the value at that particular map location. If I want to see the value somewhere else at an arbirtrary point on the map, I have to drag the little flag around.

Why doesn't the map simply show the current value at the mouse cursor wherever I'm hovering? That would be so much simpler and more intuitive. Ventusky does this.

@pbaer Hello, additionally to the picker, map itself shows approximate values by its colors. Nevertheless, we do have a different approach in this matter.
