Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) Models
-
Hello!
First of all, I would like to extend a huge thanks to the developpers working on Windy. It is really an incredible source of weather information!
Second, I would like to know if there are any plans to add Canadian models to Windy. The global, regional (covering North America) and high resolution (covering Canada and a portion of the USA) atmospheric models would be a great addition to the list of models already available.
Here is the MSC Open Data website containing all the information on available models and data, and on how to retrieve them: MSC Open Data.
They are available through a web services (WMS and WCS) API called GeoMet, and through an HTTPS data server called Datamart.More info on all types of available data,
on the global (GDPS) model,
on the regional (RDPS) model and vertical profiles from the RDPS,
and on the high resolution (HRDPS) model.Thank you very much!

@pmf777 Hello, thank you for suggesting new models. We certainly plan to add more in the future. :)

Hello ... I completely agree with Paul-Michel's suggestion, and hope you can do it as soon as possible. Such would be a valuable addition to the great information already provided by windy.com. Thanks.

Dear Windy.com,
I also agree with Paul-Michel's proposal. Canadian meteorological data would be very useful for our operational tasks. I wish you could add it as soon as possible. Thanks very much for this great tool. Windy.com is fantastic!
