Windy Premium not so professional?

We are in Spain at this time. Accuracy of Windy is rather disappointing. Today, and this is not the first time, the forecast for Frigiliana is clear sky, sunny, all day long. In reality it has been heavily cloudy practically the whole day. My wife's free app, standard pre-installed on her smartphone, has proven much more efficient and correct than my Windy Premium. I mean forecasts can be incorrect but even getting the actual, present weather wrong is somewhat frustrating. How is this even possible?

@toemke Hello, Windy visualizes forecast based on local and global weather models, we do not create our own forecast.
If you are constantly getting inaccurate results, we recommend to try all the available weather models such as ECWMF, GFS, ICON-D2 and so on. Each model shows slightly different values and can suit your location better. Also keep in mind that it is hard to forecast weather in mountain areas such as Frigiliana, therefore the results may vary from reality.
Furthermore, we do not display real-time weather, but forecast. If you want to see current measured values, try weather stations. -
@korina thank you for this information. I use and read Metar and or TAF from time to time but to have a quick glance the icons (Sun, rain, clouds etc) is more practical. Anyway, thanks
