Real time radar bug iPhone - real time radar not working

Used to have function of real time radar, especially liked being able to see lightning strikes in real time. (And feeling and hearing the strikes was pretty cool too!) Will this be fixed soon? I imagine the app is behind an update to work with the new iOS. Look forward to hearing back.
