You are filling a much-needed space vacated by the closure of MeteoEarth. One feature that would really be great to add, to finish filling that space, would be to support the display of more information types at the same time. Wind vectors plus temperature coloration, or wind vectors plus rainfall coloration, would be super desirable for getting a whole picture of a frontal situation in one view!
Or maybe even all three. Wind vectors plus temperature coloration overlaid with transparent whiteness of increasing opacity to indicate increasing rainfall rates. Okay, maybe not everybody would want to read that, but I would sure like to try!

I don’t know what precisely you call wind vectors, is it wind arrows or wind barbs? You can combine already precipitation, Rain layer, with animated wind particles which give the wind direction. It already shows frontal boundaries.
