Grey background on rainfall map

Can something be done about the grey background on the rainfall map. It is so hard to see the rainfall. Can we not have an alternative 'white" version instead?

In Settings menu, you can change the grey background in the Customize color scale section.
Click on the first line to open the small setting window.
Modify the color to a lighter grey.
Then press Save.

Note that if you use a white background, location names will be not readable. Better to set a light grey.
