<p dir="auto">Currently located near <strong>15.7N 81.1E</strong> is moving <strong>northwestward at 4 knots</strong> (7,5 km/h). Maximum sustained winds are near 40 knots (74 km/h).</p>
<p dir="auto">The system is expected to come near the coast of <strong>Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday</strong>, however, it is unlikely for it to make landfall. Forecast indicates that Asani will slowly recurve north-northeastwards and move along <strong>Narsapur, Yanam, Kakinada, Tuni</strong> and <strong>Visakhapatnam</strong> coasts and emerge into the west-central Bay of Bengal where it will weaken.</p>

<p dir="auto">Tropical Cyclone Asani, currently <strong>located near 14.9N 82.3E</strong>, is moving <strong>westward at 11 knots</strong> (20 km/h). Maximum sustained winds are near 65 knots (120 km/h).</p>
<p dir="auto">It is expected that Asani will reach the <strong>north Andhra coast</strong> and adjoining <strong>Odisha coast</strong>. Once the cyclone returns back into the Bay of Bengal, it will weaken as it drifts to the northern Bay of Bengal.</p>
<p dir="auto">Heavy to very heavy rainfall can be expected in certain areas in north coastal Andhra for the next two days.</p>

<p dir="auto">Located near 14.4N 85.5E, Tropical Storm Asani is moving towards the <strong>northwest at 8 knots</strong> (15 km/h). <strong>Maximum sustained winds are near 60 knots</strong> (111 km/h).</p>
<p dir="auto">The forecast indicates that the system will continue its track toward the northwest and turn poleward near <strong>Visakhapatnam</strong>. Asani will weaken steadily during this period, push into the Bay of Bengal where it will accelerate toward <strong>Bangladesh</strong> and then continue its weakening and eventually dissipate over the northern Bay of Bengal.</p>

These twin vortices are not a common event, on either side of the Equator in a symmetrical position.</p>
