It's really calm at our house, but it says the wind is between 29-36km/h, any ideas??
-
@squshy
You don’t give detail about your location, no screenshot. Seriously how can you imagine that someone explains the discrepancy between your observation and what you get from Windy? -

Why do you post that in this thread? -
@aung-min-tun-0 You have already posted this in other thread. Please do not post the same thing twice.

Maybe you've put the height slider to indicate winds in upper levels.e.g. surface wind 5 kts
Winds at 30000 ft (9km high), 78 kts !!!
-
I also thought of checking the height slider, but the height was ground level.
-
@squshy Hello, I can see that the current predicated wind value is around 14km/h. Next time, I would recommend to check all available models and compare their results.

@squshy
Additionally to choose the best weather model for your area, you can use the Observation vs forecast tool :
https://community.windy.com/topic/9425/how-to-use-the-observation-vs-forecast-featureSelect Reported wind to find nearby weather stations.
Here is an example with North Shore Airport weather station and ACCESS model: -
