Quick question, the speed of the wind at a favorite city,( chart at the bottom of the map)  is different than the wind speed from a local weather station. Likewise with the temp ?  Why?</p>

Yes, wind forecast can be different from reported wind at a weather station. One is prediction by a weather model, the other is observation.<br />
Same for temperature and all weather parameters.</p>
