How can I get rid of the pulsing dot that shows in a town near my location?

@jeff-gorss Hello, the blue pulsing dot only shows up when you select "Find my location". Otherwise it is not present.

@Korina So maybe I have selected 'find my location' at some stage and have ended up with this annoying pulsating blue dot. How do I remove it??

@kevmcg1352 I guess it is the setting where you start from.
by default it's calculated by GPS. you could switch to USE LAST LOCATION or a favourite

@kevmcg1352 Yes, if you select "Find my location", the blue dot will appear on the map indicating your current location. The dot will disappear if you close/open the app.
