Apart from seeing the countries in real size, the 3D version does NOT offer any advantage.

Also 3D globe is not the main feature of Windy Premium, as you surely know, it is 1h forecast view with more frequent model updates and special settings options.

If you do not like 3D globe, nobody is forcing you to use it. But many of our users welcomed this features as they are able to see the weather from a different angle.
