No rain forecasted despite the weather radar showing a thunderstorm.

Not sure if this is the right place for this. Weather forecast is blatantly wrong, no rain forcasted for today despite me standing in an active thunderstorm.

Apparently you only considered one weather model out of all available in Windy. ECMWF is a global model with very good accuracy. However this type of model is not the best for predicting thunderstorms. In USA you can use regional models e.g. HRRR model which is updated several times in a day and which is better for thunderstorms forecast.
But the precise location of thunderstorms is anyway very difficult to predict. -
You're absolutely correct. I did notice all the others predicted the rain. I was surprised the default didn't update to show rain when the storm system was only hours away, I expected it to show rain at some point that morning. The descriptions for the various sources made it sound like the default was the best/most accurate, I didn't realize HRRR was better for my area. I'll be using that one from now on.
