Adding a "Gust Factor" Layer

I'm often clicking back and forth between the "Wind" layer and the "Wind Gusts" layer. In airsports activities the windspeed doesn't matter quite as much as the change in wind speed, the gust differential. It should just be a matter of subtracting (gustSpeed - windSpeed), but would be really helpful for airsports activities.
