I wrote this note to owner of Windy also. It could be useful to have possibility to see synoptic maps ond Windy background layer.
Still do not think about it?

You probably mean Surface pressure charts or Surface analysis maps.
You can display Isobars with Lows and Highs as there are in this type of maps. The missing elements are fronts. There are not drawn by weather models but by meteorologists, reasons why they are not available here. Windy is only using weather models data.
Do you know a data source of frontal boundaries throughout the world?
