The Mercator projection is not a colonialist projection !<br />
It is the best projection for navigation because it ikeeps angles right. If you are not happy with it, you can use the 3D mode which is available on <a href="http://Windy.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Windy.com</a> website.</p>

The distortion however does not affect the accuracy of our forecast.</p>
