Says I need to upgrade to iOS 14 app
I have the latest app installed -

as the system says, you need to update your phone to at least iOS 14 to use widgets.
For the Windy Apple watch app, you need to have at least WatchOS 7.2 on your watch (available on Apple Watch 3 and newer).
