Zooming changes temperatures
-
I checked the temperatures at the cold front over Germany and Czech republic with the windy app moments ago. When I zoomed in and out, the temperatures of some stations changed. Especially those of Prague changed a lot. (I had many problems using this user interface on my CP, but I hope you can read this nevertheless)

Hi, these temperatures shown below city names are not those provided by weather stations but by the weather model prediction at this location.
Zooming in and out can change the values of parameters (wind, rain, temperatures…) shown locally, probably due to interpolation.
So if you want to know future temperature in a town, better to use the meteogram. -

Thank you for the reply. I just thought, because I did not choose a time in the future, but a time a bit in the past, that the model temperature forecasts are adjusted to the observed temperatures in the neighborhood. Obviously that's not the case.
Have a nice day.
