Smoke
-
Any chance of a smoke layer getting worked in? I know it could be helpful a lot of places, a lot of pilots in Alaska would really like to be able to see smoke intensities and movement.

@ak-180
If you select PM2.5 or Aerosol, plus Active fires, it give a good idea of the chance of smoke

HRRR has a full smoke prediction model, and it seems weird that it's left out of Windy

You can see it here: https://hwp-viz.gsd.esrl.noaa.gov/smoke/index.html
and source data here:

@benshares Hello, our source for air quality data is Copernicus.
-
@korina Thanks for the insight. Considering you use HRRR as well, why wouldn't you offer different smoke models along with Copernicus?
-
@benshares We will consider it, thank you.
