Did you try different models, specially AROME which is a high resolution model, much more precise in this area between sea and mountain?
In such area, global models, including the Windy default model, cannot be so good at predicting temperature.
Here you see no difference between forecast by AROME and reported temperatures at an official weather station:
You don’t say where precisely you observed 33°C and if you measured it at a weather station? A thermometer on a wall never gives a correct temperature.
