i have admired windy for a long time, but every time i come back you amaze me with even more information available at my fingertips

i vividly remember way back when the interweb was new, thinking how good it would be to be able to download and accumulate the isobar maps to create a dynamic representation of weather - how very last century :)

this site (and the app) are fantastic - never moreso than when i watched the eruption off tonga in almost real time using the satellite viewer, before any of the news feeds managed to post that spectacular event from that perspective

kudos to the developers and others embellishing this awesome asset
