landmarks in English?
-
how do i get the English translations of the areas surrounding me here in the Philippines? all the close island nations are in their native spelling. challenging does not fully describe the frustrations.
-
@strvger Hello, we currently do not have Filipino language, so it is not possible to view map in this language.
-
@korina: well, I am a US expat retired and living in the Philippines. if you read my question carefully, i noted that i need English translations!!!
I don't speak Tagalog nor Visyan. can you take another look at my problem and see if there can be a resolution, please?? -
@strvger Hello, you should see the English city names if you choose English as the default language.
-
@korina i did that. unfortunately, i still see Palau as Ngerulmud.
as settings are stored in the 'cloud', i feel like my cloud has floated away.
and as you can see, i am paying for the premium version. disappointed for sure. -
@strvger Hello, we do plan to update our base maps, and once we do, errors like this will be fixed.
Regarding your subscription, it is not assigned to your account, since you are missing the Premium badge.
To pair Premium, follow these steps
- Go to desktop and log in with your Windy account
- Open the subscription offer window (e.g. click on the 1h forecast button in the detail of a certain location)
- Click on 'Restore purchases'
- On the next page, insert the subscription Order Reference code -> I have sent it to you via PM.
-
@korina so why is WINDY taking an annual subscription out of my Citi account?
-
@strvger Hello, you have subscribed via desktop (Fastspring), the money has been charged from the credit card, you chose during the payment process. If you wish to change the payment method, please go to https://windy.onfastspring.com/account.
I can still see that you do not have Premium access. Did you please follow the steps I mentioned?
