Wind Speed Icon Colors

Why do the wind icon colors not match the color gradient key at the bottom of the screen? For example, at my location the wind speed is currently @ 2 mph, however, the icon’s color matches 45 mph on the color gradient.

What do you mean with ‘wind icon’ ? Could you be more explicit or show a screenshot.
