Why does windy remove my last selected layer and de-select pressure lines on map, only to show some random layer, upon starting the app? Annoying…
      Thanks!

You can saved the last layer if you select in Settings > Start-up layer and location > Start-up layer > Use last overlay
The overlay and weather model are saved but apparently not the isolines.

          Thanks!
What does the 1h/3h save mean?

@Windy please enable saving of all parameters incl. iso lines.

In Settings -> Start-up layer and location , this mean that your last setting, 1h or 3h forecast step, is saved and will be used when opening the app next time.
The choice 1h or 3h step is given in the Basic / Meteogram tables at a location.

But if you click Start up layer you should get this window:

In your screenshot it seems that you clicked Start up location ?
You are Premium user, so you should have this setting available
