How do I turn off sound in rain radar iOS /iPasOS app?

Intensely annoying. Previously a sound mute control which has disappeared. 1st time I was looking around for a fire starting (camping in drought having used camping stove.
1st app ever to have needless sound output with no volume/mute. What were developers thinking?

That is beyond daft. Mandatory sound with no volume control (beyond silencing the entire phone, music, everything. How daft can this app get?And I paid for a subscription and it just gets dafter.
I'm hesitant about negative appstore reviews but this new functionality deserves negative stars and a "complete rubbish" review.

@psamathe-net I am sorry for the confusion. If you are referring to the sounds of the radar lightning, then you can turn the sound down by the volume option next to the radar timeline.

There is no sound control on the iPad. Used to be but a recent update seems to have removed it. There is one on the iPhone version but none on the iPad version (any more).But I notice several "where have the noises gone" and "we'll put them back" posts here so I wonder if putting them back has also removed the volume/mute control on the iPad.
