Entering into detail in weather picker resets date/time selection

If I have used the bottom bar to scroll forwards to a specific day, then select the weather picker for that, then click the down arrow to show detail, the date/time selection will reset to the current day and time. This means I have to scroll forwards again, which in this detail weather picker mode is hard because the bar is so small and it requires an additional action to then pick the time.
When I click into detail of weather picker, it should maintain whatever date/time selection I had already made.
Eg, view 1, Saturday 9am selected
Click for detail, it’s Wed.
