New Premium widgets for iOS
-
We have added Premium widgets for the Windy iOS app!
Version 37.1.9 launched an anticipated feature in the form of a 1-hour forecast for all three widget types for even more in-depth weather data right on your home screen.
- Premium Hour Forecast Widget
- Premium Detailed Forecast Widget
- Premium Forecast Widget
And that is not all! The update also brings new settings options for appearance and location.
Dark and Light mode
Do you use dark or light mode and wish to match Windy widgets with the set theme, or want to improve the viewing experience in low-light environments?
All forecast Windy widgets (including Premium widgets) are now available with 2 appearance options. To change the appearance, simply long press the widget to access settings and choose the predefined theme -
Light
,Dark
orAuto
.Widget location
Widgets newly get location from your current position only, which means the custom position in the app's settings is not considered.
Instead, you can change the location for each widget in the widget's settings, allowing you to have as many widgets as you want for places you care about.
