The cumulative rainfall map is out of step with the date and time slider map for rainfall.

example Cork, IE is showing about 1 mm rain for next 24h (as of 10 Sep). The rainfall forecast map with the time slider is showing about 24mm for 11 Sep (ie which is broadly 24h time). The cumulative map is only picking up the exceptionally high forecast rainfall in the 3 day ahead view.

      Cumulative 24h forecast at 10 Sep 13h00

I guess it has to be understood as 24h from the reference time (run time of the model). In you case it was 00UTC. So the rain predicted on Sunday is not included.
It is confirmed in Layers description. :
"It's being deduced from the reference time "
