Possibility for specified locations in apple premium widgets
-
Would be great if you could add the option for the new iphone premium widgets to specify one or more designated location instead of your actual position. Usually i look for certain spots i wanna go for sports, to see if it s worthwhile, and not necessarily the one i m currently at. Would be an awesome feature to have.

Hello @Mirco-Dommann
The feature is already there. Simply press the widget for a slightly longer time, choose "Edit widget" and click on "Use Custom Location".
-
The procedure for lockscreen widgets is somewhat different:
Long press on the lockscreen, tap Customize, tap the widget area (the Add Widget box appears), tap the widget you wish to edit.

You're right, thank you for the useful tips.

@David-Polášek-3 you re right. I noticed though that it will not let me lets say paragliding spots in that widget edit. I cant access the favorites from there. And i cant type it in either as some of the spots that i can type in the normal app, dont show up in the widget. Like the slide mountain paraglide launch near tahoe. It shows up in the normal app, but not in the widget

@Mirco-Dommann Hello, the iOS widgets take your current location by default. Favorites are not considered and cannot be selected. If you want another location than your current one, you can select "custom" and find choose the desired location.
