      Can someone please explain to me what the purpose is of the Weather Radar and Satellite overlays? What is the difference?

        Weather radars show the rain and Satellites the clouds. It seems quite obvious when looking at these layers. They are observations, not forecasts. But both are interesting for knowing the current weather and deducting the possible weather in the next hour.
