Search & Search Cache Flush

Using Windy on iPAD 12 Pro, downloaded 9/14/22.

When using search to find weather in a location, I find there is no way to flush or delete the search cache.

If you enter the wrong location or mis-spell a location or just click on the wrong location in the automatic list, then this location is always in the cache and you cannot remove it.

There should be a very easy way to flush the search cache (in Settings perhaps). The only way I have been able to delete this is to delete the app and re-download.
This inadequacy should be corrected.

Once selecting Search there should be an easy way to cancel the Search and go back to main default screen. Selecting different features like play gets you out of search but this should not be the way.
