NO2 data source and discrepancies with other sites?
-
Hi all, I was interested to know what the source of Windy's NO2 pollution data is?
It seems to often contradict a couple of other sources I look at for such data, including websites such as Breezometer, in a few significant ways.
For example, I am currently looking at one country town and Windy has every location within it at an NO2 reading of 17-19.
While Breezometer ( www.breezometer.com ) has an NO2 reading of 23 by the main roads which run through the town, but 9 on the streets at the edge of the town further from the roads.Meanwhile, if I look at other live NO2 reading sites, such as here: http://visuals.datadrivenlab.org/airmap_2016/
the pattern of the data seems broadly similar to Windy but the numbers are much lower. Is there any reason why Windy's data seems so broad brush, And numbers so high, relative to elsewhere?
Thanks

Hi, the data source of Windy NO2 layer is Copernicus.
To know more about each overlay data click the small i in bottom right corner of screen on browser version, or About the data in the mobile app.
