<![CDATA[Hurricane Tracking Symbol Does Not Match Simulation]]>When using the Hurricane Tracking tool, the hurricane symbol/icon moving along the projected track does not seem to match up with the background simulation. As shown in the attached screen shot, when the hurricane symbol is at the point labeled as, "Saturday 17 - 14:00", the background simulation appears to show the eye of the circulation quite a bit over to the west. Is the eye of the storm not accurately shown, or am I reading this wrong?

No of course, this track is not based on only one of the models shown on Windy. More exactly the NOAA/NHC uses several models to forecast the track and intensity of hurricanes. Especially 2 specialised models HWRF and HMON, but also more conventional ones, including GFS.
