Hello, I live in the Indian Ocean (Reunion Island) near Mauritius. On Windy we don't have lightning detection but we have the necessary instruments, I would like to know why it doesn't work on Windy.

Hi, Windy does not get lightning data directly from lightning detectors but from Blitzortung. Not sure they can add individual detectors. -
@Ludovic-ddt It is likely that our source does not have data for your location, thus the missing lightning strikes.
