    Interpretation of rain accumulation in forecast

      In the basic forecasting overlay, time is given in 3 hour blocks and rainfall is given in in/mm. Is that "projected cumulative rainfall over that 3 hour time period", or is that "hourly rainfall within that three hour time period?"

        As mentioned in the FAQ, the rain layer shows the cumulative rainfall during the last 3 hours as predicted by the weather model:
