      I'm in Manchester, NH. Ideally, weather radar should show the edge of precipitation at ground level. Windy's radar is far too sensitive, at least here; I suspect it is showing precipitation that never makes it to the ground. Other radar apps, such as Weather Underground's "wundermap", and MyRadar, are much more accurate in showing where it's precipitating at ground level.

          @Korina I’ve have seen this on occasion too where The Weather Network radar app filters out signals being reported by Windy radar. I’ve just come to take it into account. I will report an example when it next arises.
