in order from easy to hard to create, here are some suggestions for views that energy traders use all the time:

1. Degree Days: abs(temp - 65)
2. High Wind Areas: wind mph > 15 MPH
3. Day on Day Model Change for Temp and Wind (essentially the new model delta versus the previous day's model run)
4. High precipitation interaction with temperature forecast areas (areas where high precipitation probabilities is heavily influencing the temp forecast)
