Severe tropical hurricane Roslyn has made landfall in western Mexico, near 𝗡𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁 state as a category 3 storm. Roslyn was carrying winds of 193km/h (120mph) upon landfall.

Hurricane will likely cause a life-threatening storm surge of up to 4 to 6 inches of rain along the coast, damaging winds, and flooding.

Roslyn rapidly intensified to a Category 4 hurricane on Saturday as it headed for landfall on Mexico's Pacific coast.

The maximum sustainable winds are 210 km/h at the moment, but the storm is expected to weaken to Category 3 hurricane upon landfall.

The landfall itself is expected in Nayarit state on Sunday morning. The hurricane will also come close to Cabo Corrientes and Puerto Vallarta on Saturday night as the path shifts northeast.

A Hurricane warning was issued for the area from Playa Perula south of Cabo Corrientes north to El Roblito and for the Islas Marias.
