Hurricane Lisa heads for the landfall

Lisa has intensified into a category 1 hurricane and became the sixth storm of the 2022 season in the Atlantic. Landfall is expected in Central America later today.
The storm is located in the northwestern Caribbean Sea, about 100 miles east-southeast of Belize City, and is packing maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. Winds at landfall are expected to be between 85-100mph.
Threats
The hurricane will bring a life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds, and flash flooding.
Warnings
A Hurricane warning is issued for the Bay Islands of Honduras, the coast of Belize and the southeastern Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico.
A Tropical storm warning is in effect for the north coasts of Honduras and Guatemala, then Yucatán from Puerto Costa Maya to Punta Allen.
