The name of the Canary Islands is, Canary Islands Archipelago. Las Palmas is just a province.

This question is related to the small islands naming in Windy. An old demand was to use the name of the island but NOT the name of the main city on the island as it is still the case now:

This problem has not been solved despite islands were correctly named in the old Windy map app.
Everyone knows the Canary Archipelago but much less Las Palmas.
