About satellite

Does anyone know what satellite model is used?
And why in the satellite section we do not see photos of the planet, but only cloud cover?!

Select "visual" to see lakes, rivers etc.

Please keep in mind that meteorological satellites have a resolution of aprox. 2km so cannot "see" smaller features.
