      Why is the ECMWF so far off on temperatures this winter? It didn't seem to be a problem last year. For Zip code 99006 the airport weather station this morning has the temp at 3, the ECMWF has it at 30. Not sure how you can extend an accurate forecast when you are that far off on your starting point?

        @Deer-Park
        The ECMWF model and the others including GFS, NAM and even HRRR do not forecast correct temperature at your location as seen in the Observation vs forecast feature. Probably because you are in a mountainous areas.
        There is a model, METEOBLUE, which shows quite correct temperature forecast. This model is good in mountain. Here is the comparison between the temperature forecast by METEOBLUE last night and the temperature recorded at the airport weather station.

        So, try to use this model which is only available at point forecast, in meteogram.

          Thank you for the response, I will follow the Meteoblue forecast and see how it tracks with actual.
